I say both. I say care-amel because I feel like it will make me sound smarter. But other times I say car-amel because that’s how most say it where I live.

I have this debate with A LOT of people because I believe the only correct way to say it is “Care-amel” when you say Carmel you are actually just talking about a city or county but “care-amel” is a delicious treat. Everyone is feee to have there opinions tho
