My sister is having a hard time with spelling certain words, what’s a few ways I could help her learn?

Just helping her is so sweet of you! Quizzing her and making it a fun way to spend time with you should help her a lot. Maybe have her write them down a couple of times (the boring thing) and then play a quiz game or something (the fun thing).

maybe make a fun game of also spelling words that rhyme with the words she has trouble with, like for cat hat bat mat etc, just say the words quickly so she has to spell them as fast as she can

well my sister does too and what i do is show her how to spell it right and then have her write it after me so she can have my writing as a refrence

Maybe try having flash cards? Write down different words and have her try to spell them, once she gets them maybe try harder words? Or maybe try figuring out which words are harder for her, if there is a pattern, like for example confusing b for d, or the sound of c and k.

For the tricky words, what I do is say the word as it is by letter. So restaurant I think of it as res-taw-rant to remind me that there’s a u after the a. Or Wednesday I say it in my head with a d so I’d know how to spell it.
