so the pattern you mentioned is an alpha. are you sure you put the right pattern? if you want to learn how to make alphas, i would suggest going on youtube and searching up masha knot’s two tutorials on how to make alphas. once you get the color switches you should be good on any alpha🙂

You could also check out videos by other people on YouTube like Megan Morris, kinsey b or Alex's Innovations. Sometimes it helps to see different people explain it in different ways. Sometimes you have to rewatch a video several times until you really understand how something is done and that's completely alright. If you watched the flat alpha video by MashaKnots I recommend you also watch her previous video on alphas since the flat alpha technique is at least in my opinion a little more difficult than the regular alpha technique. |

The technique is the same for all alpha bracelets, so the best thing I can advise is just practise and keep on trying

so i’ll try to explain the pattern the best i can though the youtubers that @halokiwi suggested are much better at explaining than i am. so in that pattern, you have 7 base strings and 4 leading strings/colors. with your first leading string (white), you do forward knots over the first 3 strings and then you change to brown. there are two methods to changing string: regular substitution and flat alpha. it is hard to explain both of these by writing so again i strongly suggest you find some youtube tutorials on alphas. once you get to the second row, you switch to backward knots. you go row by row and knot by knot, changing colors as the pattern indicates. please tag me in the forum @arf820 or message me if you have any specific questions and i’ll try to answer to the best of my ability. i hope that helps!

I found alpha patterns really easy to learn how to make. Like everyone is saying, Alpha bracelets take practice but I find very entertaining to make (: Totally worth the time and effort in the end!! 👍 🔥

@Jaylin you have to see the video more than one time and also being playing around with the stop /pause 🛑 button of YouTube, so you can see it better 👍😃
