What does everyone setup look like? Clip board? Safety pins, something different. How do you know what thread your on or what line your on? I would share my setup but don’t know how on here.

Hello! I usually tape my alphas down onto a table, and use a clipboard for normal patterns 😊

I clip the bracelet to a Dr. Seuss book using a binder clip. It’s kind of like a makeshift clipboard but it actually holds the bracelet in place way better than a real clipboard does. I just have the pattern up on my phone, and I keep track of where I am by either just remembering what I’ve done, or by looking at what I’ve done so far and comparing it to the pattern on my phone

I’ve got a clipboard that I painted a ruler onto that I use, and a sewing needle to undo bad knots. As for keeping track of where I’m at I made it a general rule to never take a break in the middle of a pattern (if I can help it), or I’ll knot to a specific line and write the line number on the clipboard snap with a dry erase marker

i prefer using a mason jar to hold the bracelet and a safety pin to undo mistakes 🌸✨

I use a water bottle and tape. I usually just put my tablet in front of me since the screen is bigger. To keep my place when making knots I put the strings off to the side.

Using a hydro flask with water in it is really good or just a water bottle. The weight behind it keeps it in place. I also bought a cheap clipboard and cut little grooves into it to keep the strings in place. Good luck!
