Hey guys, so I’m kinda new to making bracelets, I’ve been using the thread le paon, which is super cheap on amazon, for me it breaks very easily, and in every bracelet I’ve made from it the tread his broke! Do you have any suggestions for thread, or should I use craft cord, btw I’ll spend the money if it’s more expensive as long it is sturdy.

Go to dollarama it is my number one go to I have bought all of my thread there including color changing thread, pastel and other pretty threads that don’t break too easily

Okay, thanks for accepting my friend request, and responding, my only problem is that I’m not from Canada, and there are no dollaramas in the US, oof 😣, but I would go if I could, does the thread have any brand name or is it just a dollarama brand?

You could experiment with different types of thread of amazon and I personally like to have crochet thread for black and white because I use them so often. If you are up to spend the money dmc is always an option and are available from most craft stores. I also like keep a look out for the brand Sullivans as their embroidery thread is quite good and nearly half the price of dmc.

I recommend purchasing embroidery floss on amazon. I purchased a pack of 150 skeins for £12 pounds on amazon and the quality is great ( I think the brand was TICHOSI but I could be completely wrong 😂)

DMC is a dream to work with, however in my opinion it’s way too expensive ;-;

if you have a walmart near by, go to walmart because they have a 105 pack for $10. the threads are dmc quality.
