Hello! I know masha knots already has a tutorial on this but recently I saw this picture of a tardrop loop on an alpha (also by masha knots) nd I don't know how to make it.

I can only make assumptions but this is what it looks like to me:

Using the white basestrings she made the edges of both triangles using the triangle end technique for normal patterns.

Then she knotted the blue leading string onto the white basestrings. In the first row she knotted onto the two middle strings, in the next on four, then six, then eight. She did the same thing for both triangles. For the second triangle she used the end of the leading string.

Does this make sense?
