I don't think it would be right to copy this pattern. I'm pretty sure it's against the guidelines and copied patterns have been the main reason for the fight between braceletbook and friendshipbracelet.net. Designing original patterns especially big ones like that can be difficult. It's like doing art or writing an essay. It just isn't fair to take what someone else made without asking them in the first place. @lunaMar_27I know you only wanted to help so this criticism goes to the both of you! @EmmaWhite I suggest you just do the pattern from friendshipbracelet.net and post it there if you want to post it. In my opinion the only possible way (or rather the only right way) to get it to braceletbook would be to message the creator on friendshipbracelet.net and ask them if they could post the pattern on braceletbook/if it was ok for them if someone else posted it on braceletbook. (I myself have written patterns based on pictures of bracelet when people wanted to know how they're made and I couldn't find the original pattern anywhere. If I found the original pattern I just linked to that pattern and they were able to make the bracelet. So I'm not completely innocent myself.) |
