I think I know your problem... First I would definitely check out @WWJCD tutorial of how to design a pattern, that will help with lining up the strings, colors and numbers. Also, say you have 6 colors in your pattern, and your order is ABCDEFFEDCBA. A mistake I made when I first tried to make a pattern was when typing out the knots, I wrote 12 down instead of 6, forgetting that two strings are used per knot. Doing this will add a bunch of Aโs to the end of your string and color structure. If the order of your strings keeps on changing, go back through your design and knots, and see if you can change any b knots to bf knots, and the same with f and fb knots. Hope this helped โค๏ธ
