I'm new to this site/ app and I'm into making alpha bracelets but I'm kinda new to it. Any suggestions for what I should try or any tips?

try the flat alpha technique and the straight edges technique! those techniques are super helpful since your alpha will be less bumpy and your edges will be straight. masha knots has a tutorial on youtube about it!

Try not to make your edge knots tighter than the ones in the middle, because your bracelet will curl, and a lot of people tend to do it in accident, so watch that for the first few then you should be used to it and it won’t take as much concentration. Hope this helps!

Beginner friendly Alpha Patterns I always recommend are ones with 12 or less base strings with two colours (you can filter these out on the Patterns tab). Start small and work your way up (for now.)When making the bracelet, try keep to the same tension throughout, different tensions can make the bracelet warp in all different ways. Keeping to the same brand thread, or the same thickness of thread will really help also. To make sure your knots are sat firmly against the knots directly above it push them up with your nail gently really helps. Another general tip will be to take your time when knotting. Practice and patience are the main two things though when it comes to Alpha's. Good luck! 🙂 |
