i love the look of ombré thread, and i’ve made a few patterns with it, but i was wondering if anybody has any ideas of patterns that would look good with ombré thread. i’ve already made a lot of vertical waves, some chevrons, chinese staircase, and daisy chains, but i would really appreciate some other suggestions!!

If alphas aren’t your thing, my favorite thing to do is make a Chinese staircase but instead of making it as a bracelet, I tie the knots around my phone charger!! Super cute and goes faster than you think (heads up tho- do it on a shorter charger first, or have a backup one to use to charge your phone while you’re making it because the string can get tangled if you charge your phone before it’s ready. You can also just cut the excess string off each time but I don’t like doing that as much)

@yaytoast29 thank you for all of the ideas!! i’ve made an alpha before with ombré thread but i loved how it turned out so i’ll have to make more!! i also really like the chinese staircase idea. i think that’s a great way to show off the ombré thread and i might just have to try it!
