i just recently got a pack of loops & threads that included gold and silver metallic string. i haven’t had much experience with these kinds of string before and what they go well with so does anyone have any pattern recs for gold/silver? thanks in advance! 🩵

As I was choosing strings for #172759, I thought it would be nice to have gold for the moon and sun. So maybe those kinds of patterns?

I believe I actually have that exact pack, lol. A year or two ago I used a blue metallic string on #15234 and I thought it looked rather nice with a black background to add contrast. A pattern that may also look nice with it (and I am planning to use my own gold metallic string on this one day) is #139399, instead of having a gradient of gold colors you could just do all three colors with the same metallic string (either gold or silver would work here, in my opinion)I hope this helped 🙂 |

A double Chevron with a twist is awesome with metallic!, I used white pink teal and gold!
