Does anyone know if there is a pattern for the type of friendship bracelet that looks like embroidery floss wrapped around two parallel pieces of bucatini pasta with the indent between them? I have no idea what it's called and I've tried searching on both this site and YouTube.

@halokiwi oh i was looking on instagram to see if i could find the bracelet, and it's this https://www.instagram.com/reel/C82W35LPLNN/?igsh=M3N0eG9seTJreXM1but yeah i don't think there's a pattern on this site for it as there are only three 3-string alpha patterns (which is what this bracelet would be I think) i think it's like what #8454 would look like if you actually make the pattern as an alpha (using fb/bf knots rather that ff/bb knots on end) and flip it over rather than making a chinese staircase lol but yes, while i was searching, i found this tutorial on youtube for bracelets that look identical using fishtail method https://youtu.be/poFm4wKK_MI?si=LSWQZ1lnScjW09HH |

@halokiwi anyway thank u lol, do u think it would be okay to upload pictures to the chinese staircase pattern or upload a simple 1-color 2-pixels-wide alpha pattern for this type of bracelet?

Yes, I think posting it to the Chinese staircase would be more than fine. The pattern actually matches the bracelet perfectly: #8454Looking at the video, it seems to be a one colour alpha with two base strings where the straight edges technique has been used. I noticed that the pattern is also possible as a normal pattern. Those would be the knots: bf fb 0 fb bf 0 |
