Hey there (:
So I recently made this pattern: #171301
Someone posted a picture where they kinda made the pattern into a ring/circle.
From that pic, I got the idea that maybe one could add shaped flower petals to the left side of the pattern, so when knotted in the right way you'd end up with a flower.
I think it should be possible (& also really cute) but I don't really have the time to try and figure out the pattern myself right now 🫣
If anyone wants to give it a try, it would be greatly appreciated ❤️

P.S.: I hope my explanation made sense haha, lmk if you have any questions

I think I can make it work. Not sure how to put it in the generator though, but I’ll make something and add a picture to the pattern you mentioned when it’s done. 😀

I made #171565 . I’ll knot a few and see how it works out! I’ll also knot the one you made, @halokiwi . It’s a different approach than mine, but it looks pretty 😀

@kleinevos & @halokiwi
Thank you guys so much!
Both of your patterns look really promising, I'll definitely try them once I have some more time on my hands 🫶

I’ve submitted a few pictures: #171301 is more like a star, #171565 is more like what I had in mind, and #171527 is really cute, only thing is that it doesn’t lay flat with 5 ‘petals’. I think that one can be improved with a second one attached to the backside of it (or rather the front and make the back the good side), to make it 3d and therefore sturdy.
Let me know if you have other ideas about this!

@kleinevos I had in mind that the pattern would be done four times for the whole flower. I'm looking forward to see your photos. I think you're a wizard when it comes to shaped creations.

@halokiwi Yes, I was hesitating between 4 or 5, but with 4 it’s more like a nice square than looking like a flower… Thanks! I really like experimenting 😀 You can do so much different things with just one pattern (and a few changes on a pattern), it’s fascinating!
