Hello I just signed up for this wonderful site and I don't know if this is allowed or not but my grandma is a huge St Louis Cardinals fan and I wanted to make her a normal pattern bracelet (I'm new and can't do Alphas yet) that maybe has the logo or maybe a cardinal or two with the name St Louis Cardinals on it...I'm sure alphas probably what most people will say is only option but I just wanted to ask and see if maybe there's a chance someone is awesome enough to create a pattern for me to make her one. Thanks in advance 🙂 |

I just submitted a pattern with just the bird and no text. I'll let you know when it is accepted.Just want to let you know two things: An alpha pattern would probably be a lot easier to both design and tie. In alphas any knot can have any colour while in normals, you are a lot more limited. Which is the reason why I did only the bird and no text. Normal patterns that are this detailed are usually not very beginner friendly because they include lots of fb and bf knots, no simple shapes and are hard to memorise. Alphas compared to normals are not more difficult, they're just different. I encourage you to learn to tie alphas as well. I think you'll probably be able to reach your goal a lot more easily. Here are a few alpha patterns that I think are very beginner-friendly: #1571 #9581 #9560 |

Thank you so much for the pattern. I guess I shouldn't say I don't know how to do Alphas I have done a few but nothing with several colors. I haven't learned how to add a new color to a alpha pattern. But I see so many alphas that I wanna make so I really should just learn and start practicing. Thanks again for the pattern and the advice I'll definitely get to learning 😄 ❤️
