Making a loop with an odd number of strings

Hi everyone!!! I want to make a pattern and my preferred method to start a bracelet is with a loop. However, this pattern specifically has an odd number of strings. Is there any way that I could make a loop this way? Thanks in advance! ๐

In an alpha pattern, you can just use the other end of the leading string as one of the base strings to be able to make a loop with an odd amount of strings.In a normal pattern, you can split strings in half, so they are only half the thickness. If you fold them, they'll have the thickness of one string again. |
