If you search for a pattern you can filter it by amount of colours and amount of strings. Something smaller with less colours is usually easier so you might try that.

There is one pattern I recommended to someone for their first alpha, pattern #26560 wich would be a pretty good beginner alpha, and though it may look a little intimidating at first I think pattern #22450 may be a pretty good beginner pattern. 😄

I would recommend #1654 , it’s pretty small and only two colors, you could also try designing a name bracelet, those are usually pretty easy as well

#25153 is a great beginner alpha and is also super cute in my opinion!
