hello all,

I am working on learning how to make patterns, but in the meantime, would someone teach me how? or help me improve? I would eventually like to take requests.

I saw you made a request for a character on another forum topic. Maybe you could try to make a pattern of this character to practice making patterns.

I would recommend to make an alpha pattern and using 'draw alpha' to create the pattern. You can also use 'alpha from image' and then tweak the pattern in 'draw alpha'. The two tutorials on designing alpha patterns describe how to do this.

If you are interested in designing alpha patterns, I recommend looking up some pixel art tutorials on YouTube. Alpha patterns are basically pixel art.
