I can try to make a pattern, but this should also be doable as a first alpha, because it is only three colours. If you want to make it even easier, you could use blue base strings and make the blue knots with the base strings onto the leading string. This way you only need two different leading strings.

Omg halokiwi!! Just logged in and saw the pattern! You are seriously so amazing!! Thank you so so very much! And thank you for the alpha tip, I will definitely try that too, I didn’t know you could do that with the base strings! Seriously, thank you so much!! The reason behind my request for this pattern, is that my dad would take me to his favorite hotdog restaurant growing up and their cups all had this design on them. My dad passed away April of 2019 from lung cancer and when I saw this pattern, I knew I had to make it somehow, so thank you from my whole heart! This means a lot to me!
