My son asked me to make him an Oakley lanyard. He is my stepson , I love him very much and he tries to keep me at arms length. I would love to make it for him. Please help a heartbroken stepmom!?! |

Thank you for responding to me so quickly. I would like to make a lanyard so around 20 base strings. I might also like a matching bracelet using roughly half the amount of base strings as the lanyard. I looked up the logo and found some examples of it in pixel art form. I thought about just printing it and giving it a go, but thought I should probably ask someone who knows what they are doing.Thank you again for your quick response!

You could also create your very own alpha pattern. There's an "alpha from picture" mode in the alpha pattern generator. You just take a picture of the logo and upload it. You can determine how many strings you want and how many colours.

@CrissyCat you can find them as #29264 and #29265. I recommend using DMC Pearl Cotton since they come in larger skeins and are a little bit cheaper than buying them individually. And since they are longer, you won't have to add more thread as much.I'm so happy I could help you and let me know if you need anything else. Have fun making this for your stepson! |
