*Friendly hello, and thank you for looking at this.*I'm planning on teaching a friendship bracelet class at a summer camp, and could use very beginner friendly pattern suggestions. Class periods are 45 minutes so they need to be easy and quick to teach. (Yes, I know it seems really early to start planning for summer camp. The earlier you start planning the better.) Thanks in advance. 😊 |

I would recommend Chevron and variations of chevrons because they are always super beginner friendly. Masha Knots has a lot of tutorials for these bracelets. Hope this is helpful.

My first bracelet was a daisy chain and I still think it's a great beginner pattern 🥰 It's also rather quick as you "jump" a lot of rows with the chain part, so I think it would be perfect for your class (:

hmmm. i would do chevron, daisy chain, Chinese staircase (idk that might be too easy for a 45 min class), #15859, and maybe #2772 (it’s really easy it just doesn’t look it)

@sage-wolf Thanks! I had been looking for a pattern similar to #15859 to do as an intro to patterns.

Patterns with basic shapes would be good, chevrons, Candystripes, diamonds, and maybe just get them to learn and practice the knots before getting right in if you aren't already!
