I was able to find etsy sellers that sell similar bracelets as square knot bracelets, so it's made using square knots, but I'm still searching for more info.

I looked at the photo again. I think it really is just square knots made around a base using strings of different colours to make the square knots. The strings that you use to make the square knots are not put into the base whenever you make knots of a different colour, but are just left loose and then brought in again for the next knot of that colour.I have not tried it out myself, so this might not be exactly how it works. |

Since this is not an alpha or normal pattern, it would not be possible to post a pattern of it to braceletbook. This tutorial explains how to do square knots: https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/153_advanced-knots-tutorial/ If you search for "macrame square knot" online you will also find many graphics how this knot is made. I'll try to find a pattern or maybe a video online. I'll let you know, if I find anything. |

Idk, if this is in any way useful to you, but it at least "proofs" that it is actually made the way I thought:https://icreativeideas.com/how-to-diy-stylish-square-knot-macrame-bracelet/ |
