Hello guys, I need some help creating this pattern. I need it to be small because it's for a keychain. The size could ve around 8/9 cm long x 4/5 wide. This is the link of the image. It's a pic of kpop logo (treasure) for a keychain I want to crochet. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ijjBrj-mHdMIJqX5Z7kAcWOOxFHYqO97/view?usp=drivesdk

Do you know how many base strings you would need for a width of 4 or 5 cm?Here are some patterns that might work depending on how many strings and rows you need (dimensions are given in knots) #131740 (11x64) #131741 (11x59) #112626 (23x69) |

Hi, thank you for search but those patterns are kinda big for a keychain 🤧 I need it to be more small maybe around 27x25 or 27x 27 strings for the base.

So you need 27 base strings for 4 or 5 cm width? How many rows do you need for 8 or 9 cm length? I can't imagine it's also 27. |

I just measured one of my bracelets: 1cm is about 7 knots high or wide.4 to 5 cm wide would mean 28 to 35 base strings 8 to 9 cm long would mean 56 to 63 rows For you this might be different. I recommend measuring your bracelets to give me some data specific to you. |

I'll submit a pattern now with 23 base strings and 35 rowsI think 33 rows is the lowest I can shrink the logo to while still being readable. I definitely won't get it to just 27 rows. |

Thank you so much. I wonder if theres a posibility of doing the pattern a little bit more small?

I'm not sure. Depends on what you want.I can't make the letters smaller, but the stars could be changed. So if the pattern is too long, I can't do anything, but I can reduce the amount of base strings. |

What is the maximum amount of base strings you want? The pattern has 23 base strings. Originally you said you wanted 27.

what I need to minimize is the 33 width of the word "treasure" because I want it not to be a big keychain. I would like it to be a little smaller if possible, that it would be like a small pennant 🥺✨

The pattern currently has 23 base strings and 35 rows. You can knot the pattern sideways like it is in the knotting instructions. You don't need to knot it upright like in the preview. I don't recommend knotting it so it has 35 base strings and 23 rows. 35 rows would be about 5 cm long, which really isn't big. I can reduce the 23, but I can't reduce the 35. The only thing you can do while knotting or crocheting is to leave out the empty rows at the edges so it is 21x33. In your first message you write that you want to crochet it. I kind of overread that. Do you actually want to crochet it or is that a typo? I think when crocheting, it would probably get a lot bigger. So if you want to make a keychain, I'd recommend knotting it instead of crocheting. Since this pattern has only two colours, it's perfect for a first knotted alpha. |
