hello all, I'm looking for more shaped keychains (similar to the heart with the loop) I'm making people some keychains for Christmas and was looking for some more shaped ones, preferably with a loop available instead of a swivel key chain thing.

I think that's a great idea!

I think Christmas trees might work well if knotted as a shaped keychain
You could for example use pattern #130397 or a similar pattern
Make a yellow loop for the light on top and then knot a green triangle with dots in it
#127684 also has trees with a good shape
Something like #62893 might also work.
#62897 without the bird would also work

Another idea would be tree ornaments. #63785 has some with nice shapes.

#101650 is a super fun shaped pattern that works well as a keychain if you rotate the faces 🙂

i can also recommend that you look at @clairehair's shaped keychain tutorial - it would allow you to turn any small alpha into a pattern that would work well with a loop 🙂

You can add a loop (either triangle or teardrop) to any alpha pattern instead of attaching the base strings to a metal swivel and it still looks nice on its own. Or you can apply the shaped technique yourself, easier to do by printing the pattern and marking off the shape you prefer.
There are some photo examples on these patterns:

@Leafpool has done an amazing job at shaping alphas on these:
ice cream #31550
bubblegum #28955
avocado #34445
pizza #29317
ironman #51753
smiley #46203

and @HejaSe on:

Others with just a loop added:
coffee #116839 by @hannyknots
mushroom #120365 by @tat0428
flower #95370 by @happyrobin
cherries #46385 by @Melindart There's also a video tutorial on this one how to make it double-sided.
frog #123769 could easily be "cut" and shaped in a similar start/loop as the heart

Even shaped normals with a loop look nice too!
hearts #86703 #119677
watermelon #49663
starburst #37348
diamond #67065 and #69653
plaid #88821
ornament #64717 by @Feeltonsty and @foiria

Hope this gives you some ideas what can be done on almost any pattern! 😄
