line by line highlighter for patterns?????

If this is wrong place for this question I apologize am posting here as it has to do with patterns. 🙂I write down my patterns (ink costs too much for printing out) and it's a pain for lengthy pattern lines. So, does anyone know how I can highlight my pattern online going line by line as I make the pattern (without a guide i lose my place).? Or if there is an app where i can do that by either downloading or screenshotting pattern? I am on Windows 11 and I am sure there is something out there that I am looking for but so far I haven't been able to find it and browser extensions will not highlight the whole pattern line. I would recommend just taking a screenshot and drawing onto it using an image editing program.I think the proper section to post something like this might be in "hints". "request" is usually where people post their pattern requests. |

I screenshot the pattern on my iPad and use IbisPaint X to mark out rows as I do them. It makes following the patterns

@darlam69 if your browser allows it (i know that chrome does), i would suggest zooming out as far as the platform allows before taking your screenshots and/or rotating your screen. i usually 'boomark' my progress by scrolling down and/or leaving my cursor on a knot but i absolutely feel your pain. i refuse to make normal patterns on my phone for a reason 🙂
