What is the number for a pattern where you put one string over or under one or more strings then tie it to the next string? For example you put string a over or under b then tie a onto c.

I don't think there is a pattern number for this exact pattern because patterns on braceletbook don't include crossing strings.

Do you have an image of a bracelet like that, that you could link?

I've been thinking some more about your question and here are some more things that could be useful when identifying this pattern.

Is it a shaped pattern?
For example something like pattern #23580 or pattern #17945

Is it a normal or alpha pattern?

Does it have a specific amount of strings or can it be done with any amount of string?

It can be 4 or more strings. It can be an alpha or normal pattern.

I still don't really know what you mean. Any information could be useful, so I recommend that you give as much information as possible.

I want any pattern where you skip strings. I found one a while ago and I didn’t save the pattern so I can’t find or remember the pattern number. The pattern could have been on this other site called friendship-bracelets.net or this site. If anyone knows a pattern where you skip strings tell me the pattern name.

By skipping strings, do you mean leaving out knots? In this case I recommend searching for patterns with the keyword "shaped".

Or do you mean something braided or twisted like this #89249

Or do you mean something else?
