hello, i am actually making this pattern #13601 and i am having problems with the parts in which blue strings are involved.. it would be helpful if someone can put a pictorial of that pattern..

Do you know how to read normal patterns? If not, I recommend watching MashaKnots' video on segment knotting.If you know how to read patterns, I recommend taking a screenshot or printing the pattern and then drawing the segments into the pattern. My recommendation for this specific pattern would be to make your knotting follow a v-shape. Row 3 to 20 can be knotted like upside down vs. Row 22 to 1 can be knotted like vs. Only the bf and fb knots are different from the regular chevron. You just have to make bf or fb knots whenever the pattern calls for it and the rest is like regular chevrons. For knots between two strings of the same colour (in this pattern especially the blue border) you can make any knots you like. I recommend following the v-structure of the pattern there as well. If I had written the pattern, I would have made slight changes in rows 17, 19, 23 and 25. I would have made the second knot a bf knot and the second to last knot a fb knot. This way it is more consistent with the rest of the pattern and now you can follow the v structure better. |

yes i think this will help me out, i was having trouble with blue border on the sides of the colourful chevron part but i think i’ll just follow the v structure as u suggested. thank you
