I want to make an alpha bracelet as phone charm. So it should be in circle and the end should meet at the top. How will I make it.?

I just looked up some photos of phone charms to check out what they look like. I feel like they really change over time.So you basically want it to be shaped like the number 8: the top loop is thinner and smaller and the bottom part is your alpha and wider and longer. I would knot the alpha normally until up to the half. Then I would take two strings out to knot the smaller loop with those. After the loop I would introduce the two strings to the alpha again and continue knotting normally. Once you finished knotting, I would sew the two ends of the alpha together to for a loop.
