Hi everyone I’m a disabled service dog handler. I love bracelets and the beautiful patterns you can make. Since I always have a dog with me and need gear that looks cute so I thought of making a leash and gear set of out of “bracelets.” Now my question is what can I do to make my bracelets more durable and stronger so that I can make a set out of it. Pls if anyone has ideas on how I could make this work I would really appreciate it.

You could try doubling the string, so you would use 2 strings as one. Use thicker patterns ( star burst or something like that). Tying your knots tighter. And use normals not alphas

@hellooooo I’ve done the star burst patten it is the right thickness just not strong enough so I think I’ll try it with the double strings and see if that could work. Thank you

You could sew the bracelets onto an actual dog gear. This way you don't have to worry about it not being durable enough.

You could use cording instead of thread

Like what Hellooooo said double it and maybe sew the bracelet directly onto a leash after you finish your pattern.

you could make a pattern that is the same size as the leash and then glue it on it.
