Normal patterns compared to alpha patterns have lots of restrictions.Patterns with recognisable characters are very difficult to impossible to actually design because of these limitations. Patterns with words on them are possible as well as any other pattern using only two colours. These patterns might have a lot of fb and bf knots which some find annoying but they are possible patterns. Here are a few letters patterns you can use to make lyrics bracelets from: #22013 #22015 #22018 Here comes my feedback on the doability of the specific patterns: A Stevie Nicks/Rumours pattern would be possible as a word pattern. It would have lots of bf and fb knots. I'm thinking of maybe the word Stevie and then a moon as decoration or a Rumours pattern with a font similarly to the logo. For the movie Labyrinth a character pattern is not possible as said before. If you want to make a bracelet with lyrics on it I recommend using the font patterns I recommended. I could potentially try to make a pattern with the word Labyrinth on it in a font similar to the logo. Again lots of fb and bf knots. For V for Vendetta I'm thinking the red V in the circle. It would also have lots of fb and bf knots. It might be possible to make a normal pattern with the mask from the movie but I cannot promise that it is actually possible. I could try if you really wanted to though. I'm not familiar enough with David Bowie to think of anything else than a lightning bolt that would be recognisable as a normal pattern. I recommend you take a look at normal patterns to see what is possible and make some more specific requests based on that. Please tell me if any of these patterns are up to your taste. It would be sad if I made a pattern and you ended up not liking it because I put effort into it 🙁 I could not have known that you didn't want a lightning bolt for David Bowie because you did not say it in your first post |

I'm pretty sure @Odanak1811 has made letter patterns for normal bracelets, I'll try and find them as she has a lot of patterns 🙈 I agree with @halokiwi some of the patterns won't be possible and the V for Vendetta might be possible, however I do think the bracelet will be very large, upwards of 20+ strings. Unless that is fine with you? What pattern would you like to represent David Bowie if not the lighting bolt, did you have any other suggestions? |

@LB1017 is right, I made 2 different normal alphabets collections. If you search for normal patterns by me with keyword "alphabet" you'll see all of them 🙂

@halokiwi, Thanks for thinking of me and mentioning me on here. I really appreciate it! 😍@Johnnamay I haven't played around too much yet with trying to depict specifically identifiable images or letters/characters in the form of a normal bracelet pattern. Nearly all of the designs I've created thus far have been abstract. I took a shot at trying to design a shamrock/clover pattern for St. Patrick's Day, with mediocre results. 🤪 However, as one of the relatively few "old timers" on here (age 50), and a child of the '70's, I appreciate your taste in music!! 😄🎸🎶 😎✌ You (and @halokiwi) have inspired me to try to step up my game and see if I can come up with any ideas for you! 👍 I'll keep you posted... |
