Can someone post a picture of an alpha and instead of using embroidery floss use yarn maybe? I've always been curious but I don't have enough colors of yarn to do it myself

I know that some people have used yarn before, so it is possible. Have you tried googling pictures of yarn bracelets?

I did a normal with yarn. It worked well since the pattern did not have a lot of strings. It was also kinda nice because it was super fast to make. #150 It might be easier to find through my profile though.

Actually, I did make an alpha with yarn too. The problem is you would need a really short pattern. I made #6568 (sorry no pics). It was about 2 inches thick and way too long to be a bracelet. I would also agree with it being itchy. It does get less itchy the more you wear it though.

if you use other material then emboirdery floss,you can use cotton,or not very thick yarn.Unfortunate I have no pictures of it,because I use DMC or anchor
