Hello, I am going to teach children in my class how to knot bracelets. All of them have never made a bracelet before. I'm going to knot with 5 children at once. Does anyone have good tips for me how to start?
Are there patterns that I can easily use? I have found a couple, but I could use some help.
If you have any tips please reply. And if you know any useful and simple patterns you can help me a lot by leaving the pattern number.

Thank you!

Here's an idea I had for a sort of "lesson plan":

1. First, just give each of them two pieces of embroidery floss tied in an overhand knot and just teach forward and backward knots. Have them keep practicing both types until they feel somewhat comfortable with them.
2. Have them make a Chinese staircase and encourage them to use both forward and backward knots.
3. Demonstrate how to make a chevron, then have them each do a 3- or 4-color chevron.

You don't have to do this of course, I just figured I'd share my thoughts on it 😊

I agree with what @madeleine_ said, I think that teaching them the knots first would be really helpful in teaching all 5 at once, but some patterns that I would recommend is the chevron (#2), candy stripe (#1) Chinese staircase (#8454), or the knotted braid (#117)
