I'm not really sure, but maybe like a simple 2 color alpha with minimal color switching, just so you can get used to the technique. Maybe try a vertical wave??

You should search the patterns for a 2 or 3 color alpha in a design I you might like!! I also recommend doing some name patterns with already existing fonts ( I have 2 fonts that could check out!!)
