Is there a way to see on a pattern which strings will require more string? Or is it just always a guess based on the majority of knots seen? Also what do the dimensions mean, when it says it's a 4x6 one of them is the number of strings? Thanks in advance!

@vackattack, To see which strings will need more it’s part guessing and part knowing. Whichever collar has a lot more knots then the other ones, then you will definitely need more for that one. If it’s more of a base color, you shouldn’t need to much. The dimensions are what the size of the bracelet should be at the end. So 4x6, the length should be (I’m pretty sure) 4 knots, and the width would be 6 knots. Hope this helps.

Oh interesting thank you! Makes sense for the dimensions tense how long the pattern is before it repeats. Very cool!
