I usually just use scotch tape, but I have this problem sometimes too. I just have to use more than one piece of tape to avoid my bracelets slipping. Also, if you don’t like having to use so much tape for your bracelets, you could try using a clip board or a safety pin to secure them instead.

personally i prefer to not use tape and use a small clipboard, but i would recommend duck tape as it should be strong enough to hold it down

I use duct tape, and I usually tie a temporary knot below where I put the tape to prevent it from slipping (even though it rarely slips with duct tape anyway)

Duck tape sometimes leaves a sticky residue on your surface and bracelet. Like others have mentioned, scotch tape works well but masking tape or painters tape also works quite well in my experience.

I use painters tape of a clipboard. They both work great but I prefer using a clipboard.

I use washi tape since it doesn't fray/pilly my strings and it can be used a few times

I use packing tape. To keep string from slipping out, you can tape the strings down and leave excess string above where you put the tape, then take the excess and fold it back down and put tape over it

Well, I use duct tape mostly but it can tear my bracelet because it is very strong! So now I mostly use washy tape and it is great!

When i start out a bracelet, i use tape and a clipboard. Once the bracelet’s secure enough, i untape it, then continue making it.

I use a small clipboard an scotch tape. If mine is slipping anyway, I just tape some more pieces on the string. Good luck! 🍀
