I saw some people tie off their alphas without base strings showing and I can’t find a YouTube video on it or a tutorial.

You can make triangle ends then do a Chinese staircase with the main string all the way down the ties

@amazingme thank you! I forgot to mention that I would like to do this for alpha keychains, though.

Are you sure that their base strings weren’t just the same color as the background string?

@madeleine_ They were kind of tucked into the bottom so that you couldn’t see them at all. It looked really nice and clean.

@EveyWeep maybe what they did (and if they didn’t then this is just a suggestion) their either cut the base strings down very good and applied a coat of nail polish to the ends or they cut some off and glued the pieces to the back neatly (you can always then add a layer of fabric or felt.

@EveyWeep Could you send me the link to this video? I’d like to check it out and see if it is something I’d like to start using for my bracelets and keychain. 😀
