For alphas, Masha Knots has a straight edges tutorial. She also has one for normal patterns...you pretty much do forward backward and backward forward knots...

Are they normals, or alphas?

Like the others suggested, for alphas you could use Masha Knots' flat technique. Otherwise it might be a problem with the way the strings are going, or the tension of your knots (try to get all of your knots to be uniform/the same, I've also had problems with bumpy bracelets because my knots were wonky).

if its alpha....try doing the flat alpha technique and straight edge technique. also, make sure the strings are the same thickness! hope this helps!

Try pulling your knots evenly

I’d recommend tying your knots with the same tension and also use the straight edges technique for alphas and normals. Also, I’d recommend trying easier patterns until you advance

Also, when it comes to color switch, use the flat alpha technique.

All of the above refers to alphas

try knotting a bit slower and focus on how far apart the strings are. it also helps to use string from the same/similar brand.

Flat alpha technique has helped me a lot. I haven't tried the straight edges technique yet, but it seems super useful.

for normal bracelets make sure to use the same tightness for your knots and use string that are the same thickness. also, one knot is basically two around the string (you do one then the other and that makes one knot), make sure that you do the same thing for the whole bracelet. just keep consistent with knotting and practicing and they’ll turn out better in no time! 🗝🧷✨

If the surface is bumpy then maybe your using different thickness of string, try using a small thickness

Masha knots has a tutorial for a flat alpha technique where your bracelets come out neater and less bumpy
