My alphas, are wonky on the edges, when I have a color change on the edge you can see the base strings, and my color changes, stick up 😤help!!!!!! Also, I use the flat alpha technique, I have messaged some people, and I tried it, but I am not satisfied (probably cause I'm a perfectionist)

Knot really tightly! When I use the flat alpha technique, after I put the previous string under the base strings, I pull the string I just put under while making the first knot with the new color if that makes sense

You should try it, it’ll probably fix your problem. Masha Knots explains it in the flat alpha video

I know you messaged me but try to make the knots tighter on the edge. I had the same problem too don't worry!

for color switches on the edge, do not use the flat alpha technique. use the regular color switching method that masha knots explains in her first youtube tutorial on how to read alpha patterns. that will ensure that you don't have the extra string sticking out from the side. hope that helps! 🙂
