I’ve had this really old, really cheap set of a poop ton of thread, and then I saw some people with string that looks really fluffy and I now I don’t if my string is any good. Halp.

I’m sure your string will work just fine! The thread i typically use is DMC, Loops & Threads, J & P Coats, and Prism. My favorite is probably DMC and right under that would be J & P Coats

i would recommend ordering a bunch of thread in bulk from amazon and filling in with DMC as you run out of colors. the set i bought told me which DMC thread the color matched. hope this helps☺️

I just bought some DMC yesterday...I use DMC, loops and threads, and le paon (it's on amazon)
