If I switch hands during knots i feel like it makes my bracelets look better (idk why)

I use both hands! 😂 If I’m knotting from left to right, I will knot with my right hand and hold the base string with my left, and if I’m knotting right to left I knot with my left hand and hold the base string with my right.

Yes, I do. I use my right hand for forward knots and my left for backward knots! 😄

I am right handed so I naturally started by using ONLY my right hand! So yeah! 😂 And I think that a lot of people here only knot with their right hand!

I think it's up to personal preference. I find it easier to remember what knot I'm making, if the hand on which side the string should be in the end, holds it. So for forward knots I use my right hand, for backward knots my left hand, for forward-backward knots my left hand, and for backward-forward knots my right hand. It might sound complicated, but it works for me!

Yes I do because my Gramma taught me this trick for getting the knots nice and tight so I have to switch hands😂

Sometimes, I normally do but I don’t find it too hard to use one hand. I got confused for a second when making a normal bracelet because it was hard to use another hand but it was because I had been so used to alphas. Upside down alphas are hard not to switch your hands though

I only use my right to knot everything, and hold the base strings with my left, which is weird because I'm normally relatively ambidexterous. I guess it's just how I learned when I started ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I switch, it helps keep me clear on what knot I’m tying.

I always use my right hand. My left hand is just holding the sting I'm tying onto.
