Hi everyone! Today I thought I would make a tutorial for #31525, and since it is for Masha's stay at home challenge, you might find it useful. Whether you're just making this for yourself, or for a challenge, I hope this will help and be useful to you!I'm going to try and explain it as good as possible here, so I hope all this makes sense: BEFORE STARTING THE BRACELET TIPS: I recommend printing out the pattern if you are a little intimidated by all these instructions. Then cross out the knots as you do them, so you don't get lost. You of course can use different colors in your bracelet, but I'll be using the colors in the pattern. You can draw up a chart to understand the color difference easier, here's how to do it: Let's say you were using dark blue instead of dark red, you could make a little dark blue circle, put an equal sign next to it, and draw a dark red circle. Do this for every color, so when you read the word 'dark red', you can see your chart and realize it's dark blue for you. KEY: bk=backward knot fk=forward knot THE LOOP: 🔹start the bracelet in whatever way to like, but I will show you how to do a teardrop loop 🔸Make a basic loop, which Masha Knots has a tutorial on 🔸To make the teardrop part, start from row 5, and draw a v shape by tracing a line diagonally to the center and back up. Then follow Masha's tutorial for doing the teardrop part, but by using the string order you traced on the pattern. THE KNOTTING 🔹I'm going to show you how to segment knot this pattern, but you should have the teardrop loop done 🔸Do one row of Chevron with the outer most strings (white) 🔸 LEFT SIDE: do 2 fk with the outer most string, which should be dark red, onto the red and light red string 🔸Do 1 fk with the new outer most string, red, onto the light red string 🔸Do 1 bk each with the white string onto the dark red string, red string, and light red string 🔸Use the dark red string and do 3 fk, onto the black, grey, and light grey strings 🔸Do 1 bk with the white string onto the dark red string RIGHT SIDE: 🔸Do 2 bk with the outer most string, which should be dark red, onto the red and light red string 🔸Do 1 bk with the new outer most string, red, onto the light red string 🔸Do a 1 fk each onto the dark red string, red string, and light red string, using the white string 🔸Use the dark red string and do 3 bk, onto the black, grey, and light grey strings 🔸Do 1 fk with the white string onto the dark red string CENTER: 🔸Do any type of knot between the two dark red strings in the center LEFT SIDE: 🔸Do 1 fk each onto the black, grey, light grey, white, and dark red string using the red string RIGHT SIDE: 🔸Do a bk each onto the black, grey, light grey, white, and dark red string using the red string CENTER: 🔸 Do any type of knot between the two center most strings, which should be red LEFT SIDE: 🔸Do a fk each onto the black, grey and light grey string using the light red 🔸Do a bk onto the light red string using the white string 🔸Using the light red string, do a fk onto the dark red and red string RIGHT SIDE: 🔸Do a bk each onto the black, grey and light grey string using the light red 🔸Do a fk onto the light red string using the white string 🔸Using the light red string, do a bk onto the dark red and red string CENTER: 🔸Do any type of knot with the two center most strings, which should be light red BOTH SIDES TOGETHER: 🔸Do one row of chevron with the white strings LEFT SIDE: 🔸Do 2 fk with the outer most string, which should be black, onto the grey and light grey string 🔸Do 1 fk with the new outer most string, grey, onto the light grey string 🔸Do a 1 bk each with the white string onto the black string, grey string, and light grey string 🔸Use the black string and do 1 fk onto each the dark red, red, and light red strings 🔸Do 1 bk with the white string onto the black string RIGHT SIDE: 🔸Do 2 bk with the outer most string, which should be black, onto the grey and light grey string 🔸Do 1 bk with the new outer most string, grey, onto the light grey string 🔸Do 1 fk each onto the black string, grey string, and light grey string, using the white string 🔸Use the black string and do 3 bk, onto the dark red, red, and light red strings 🔸Do 1 fk with the white string onto the black CENTER: 🔸Do any type of knot between the two black strings in the center LEFT SIDE: 🔸Do 1 fk each onto the dark red, red, light red, white, and black string using the grey string RIGHT SIDE: 🔸Do a bk each onto the dark red, red, light red, white, and black string using the grey CENTER: 🔸 Do any type of knot between the two center most strings, which should be grey LEFT SIDE: 🔸Do a fk each onto the dark red, red, and light red strings using the light grey 🔸Do a bk onto the light grey string using the white string 🔸Using the light grey string, do a fk onto the black and grey string RIGHT SIDE: 🔸Do a bk each onto the dark red, red, and light red string using the light grey 🔸Do a fk onto the light grey string using the white string 🔸Using the light grey string, do a bk onto the black and grey string CENTER: 🔸Do any type of knot with the two center most strings, which should be light grey END OF PATTERN. REPEAT FROM TOP AND COMPLETE YOUR BRACELET! I hope everything made sense, and since it was a long text I might have messed up somewhere, even though I proof read it.
