Apart from practising and using segment knotting, what are your tips on turning up the speed of making.

Find a way to hold your bracelet that is comfortable for you so the bracelet doesn’t twist as much

I agree with @poplianna find a position for your hands that makes it easy to make a knot.

Segment knot and try to memorize your pattern as best as possible so you aren’t looking at it constantly

Practice your knots repetitively. Make a Chinese staircase and do it as fast as you can or just practice your knots constantly with two strings until you get faster and better at making the knots

If you watch Netflix or YouTube while you knot, make sure you’re not looking up at the screen too often. I know that I tend to do that a lot and it slows me down a lot more than you’d think

@madeleine yeah I would recommend something like a podcast because you don’t have to look at a screen at all unless using a unmemorized pattern but it makes it easier to focus on your knots only

I like to use a clipboard to keep by bracelet from not moving or a safety pin pinned to a pillow. I like to sit on my couch and not, I don't really watch youtube while I am knotting, but I know I am a slow knotter. It takes me a week to complete one! 😂

@ananya same!!as for how to get faster, figure out how you're gonna segment knot it before you start making. Take it from me, I've done it and it is not fun to spend fifteen minutes untying knots |

Sit with good posture, so that you don't constantly need to readjust. This is something I'm pretty bad at, and I'm always sore lol

memorizing the pattern really helps me personally but i agree with finding a comfortable position. another thing is maybe like watch a show or listen to something as when i’m bored i find myself knotting a lot slower 🙂
