I don’t know about where you live, but here in India I get it from a shop called Bombay Novelty. I’m pretty sure you can buy it on Amazon. Usually here one colour is only 10 rupees!!! I buy Anchor threads.

Oops I personally prefer embroidery floss, I got my last stuff from Micheals it is really good and it came in a big pack for pretty cheap in my opinion.

I just received floss from amazon last week and so far I haven't had any issues with it while tying. It has a slightly different texture to it, not quite as soft as DMC or Loops and Threads but that doesn't personally bother me. It comes with 240 skeins of 120 colors. @graceb02 I use the brand iris! It’s on the cheaper end and it’s pretty high quality! You should try it if your looking for cheap but good quality!! Hope this helps
