I actually just bought some from Michael's!!I bought two 1/8 inch ones and I'm going to cut them to my desired length and make tapestries on them. |

Hobby lobby has a good variety of sizes. You could also go to any building supply store like Lowe’s or Home Depot and find wooden dowels pretty cheap. Amazon is great too!

@blisssssss whether you want a stick for small tapestries (if less than 36 strings, toothpicks are fine) or larger tapestries ( i suggest a kabob stick cause you can clip it down to size); either options are readily available both online and in-stores at Walmart, Michaels, Target, Dollar Tree, or Amazon. Make sure to compare the prices to ensure the best bang for your buck

You can also use normal skewers that you would use in cooking that you can find at the grocery store and just either cut them down or break them into the right size you're looking for!

I think I saw them at Lowe's hardware store. Hope this helps!

You can also go out into the nature and see if you find nice sticks there. I think they have the potential of looking really cool especially for a nature themed pattern.
