I need help with keeping my alphas even and keeping multiple colors of string organized, and tips?

to make sure they're even, make sure the string you are knotting with is all similar thicknesses! also to keep the multiple strings organized i make sure that the ones I'm actually working with are up and away, but slightly towards the left, and I keep all other strings under the bracelet! sorry if that's confusing!

I would start with a two colored one base strings and then one main color and then when you add in because it’s a lot easier

I use one of those foam wheels to put my base strings on. It keeps them from getting tangled and then I can just focus on the strings I'm using to make the actual pattern.

Does anyone know how to start an alpha on a keychain but it has an odd number of base strings. I am wanting to make a polaroid keychain but the base string number is 21
