I'm doing pattern #34021 and I'm pretty far in already, so I don't plan on redoing the specific section. I noticed that the center (if you look at the pattern, the yellow - purple diamond) always ends up crooked in the same way each time. I think maybe it's the tension or something since it is a very wide pattern, but I don't quite know. Anyway, it would really help me out for next time if anyone had any troubleshooting tips for this problem.

if you are taping your bracelet down, make sure that you’re taping in a straight line. i tend to make crooked bracelets because i tape mine and i don’t tape it straight enough. if it has happened each time you have done that one section, maybe it’s a problem with the pattern and it just turns out that way. if it is just this one bit, it might be that you’re doing your first knot too loose and so there is more space in between the strings, if that makes any sense. i hope this was helpful 🙂

Hi!! I would recommend using a clipboard. It will improve the quality and straightness of your bracelets. 🙂

Just make your knots consistent. You dont have to use the same tension, but just make them look the same. Try tying the first knot tightly, then the second knot to how thick you want them to be.
