You could try sitting with a cushion behind you so your back is straight

Oof I feel this 😅 I try and use a pillow or blanket (or both tbh) to prop myself up and support my back, but honestly it only makes it a little better. I shift positions quite a lot and try and find ways to bring the bracelet towards me instead of leaning over the be near the bracelet as well. Really hope someone else has some tips! Quarantine has destroyed my spine...

@whitneymac ahh yeah. it’s a part of bracelet making that we all have to deal with 😅. it makes me feel like an old man after i knot for a long time. and thanks for the tips! i need to improve my posture too, so this will definitely help

I like using those pillows that are shaped like a chair!

THIS IS SUCH A FACT - I found myself always hunching over. What I've done to try to stop hunching is I use a surface that can be around chest level. I got myself an adjustable bed/lap desk in college and it's a good height that has an angled surface. I find the angled surface helps me not hunch over. I hope this helps. If you don't have that access, maybe try sitting on the floor and using a chair as your table?

If I’m sitting on my bed I like to sit up against the wall so it forces me to keep my back straight. Sometimes I sit on the floor and up against my bed.

I tried to put my chair lower and now I can sit for hours without stretching, you could try that 🙂

I set up pillows behind me, so that my back is straight, and then I put a pillow under my threadbox on my lap

i like to sit on my couch or my bed with my back on a cousin or the wall and stretch my legs out and put whatever my bracelet is on between my knees and cross my ankles and then out my phone either inside my big roll of tape and put that on my knee or put my phone on the couch below the bracelet so i can still see it

When doing bracelets I often do them attached to a water bottle or I prop the clipboard up at an angle. The best way I’ve found when using a clipboard is having it against your leg so that way it’s more comfortable, the only downside is it’s a bit annoying to knot and my heels sometimes hurt after a while

Lean against a wall and hold your clipboard with your knees! It takes practice but works once you've got it down.

I always scooch my chair over until I'm squished and I tape my bracelet down, so it's easy to move around until it feels right. Hope this helps! 😊
