where is the best place to buy your threads?

Hi everyone I just really need help finding the best place to buy my threads and which yarn brands are the best since I purchased this yarn that was a bit too thick and this other one that’s too thin. Sooo i need help! |

micheal’s or joannes are good stores to buy embroidery floss (brands like dmc, etc) ... you can also buy online on amazon, and if you do that i would suggest the brand “le paon” it is the SOFTEST string i’ve ever used

i usually get mine from amazon becuase they have packs of 100 for just like $13 and they are good quality 🙂

I prefer going to Hobby Lobby to get my thread but I’ve also gotten some decent thread off of Amazon for cheap.

I have a local store where I go, but Michaels and Walmart sometimes have dmc, and I also have gotten cheap thread off amazon that works nicely

@creative14 i usually get mine from aliexpress because i can get a lot of different thread for a small price, it takes ages to come though which is the only downside. i’ve bought 50 packs for under 5$aud which i believe is even cheaper in american dollars

I mostly buy mine from Joanns but lately I’ve been ordering off of amazon and I usually get prism sometimes the knots come out thicker but it works well!!

You can find some decent stuff on Amazon (check reviews!) But Wal-Mart and any craft store works well.

A couple of times I’ve bought big lots of floss from Facebook marketplace & Ebay. A lot of the skeins are partially use but it usually gives me a bit of variety in terms of colors (and it can also be super cheap)

For yarn, you can try sock yarn or 1 or 3 weight yarns which are super fine and around the same thickness as embroidery floss! I usually get my embroidery floss from Joann’s or hobby lobby and I get dmc

I like to get Packs of DMC from joanns. If you use a coupon you can get them for cheap. DMC is great quality! Also craft cord from Michaels works good too! Don’t forget to use coupons because then you can get it for really cheap. Hope this helped! 😄
