A great way to hold down the bracelets are safety pins or tape (duck tape)

I taped down a binder clip onto the top of my string box, so I can clip my bracelet onto a hard, but portable surface.

I usually use a clipboard, I use tap if I’m using alphas. Some people pin their bracelets with a safety pin to a pillow/pants. tip: don’t leave a bracelet in a clipboard overnight bc there could be a line when you take it out.

For normal bracelets I make a loop then hold it down with tape or a clipboard and with some alphas I will put the strings on a toothpick and tape it down (it helps keep the alpha straight)

Sometimes I use a cork board and tack, but for alphas I always use tape and a book.

@daisyellen You can safety pin it to your pillow, or you can put a knot in a drawer and leave the rest of the bracelet out to knot it.

I use a binder and tape. I use a binder so if I have to stop I can bring it with me or I can hide the mess I make. Usually for basic/normal patterns, I use the rings as something to the on and for alphas I tape them down to the binder
