Does anyone have any tips on how to keep knot tension the same cause my alphas end up tighter in some parts and loose in others

I think you have more control over your tension, if the bracelet is secured well while tying. I personally find that clipping the bracelet down and moving the clip down as you go is the best way for both alphas and normals.
