How long should I make the string for an anklet

I generally double what I would use for a bracelet. Most often it is a bit excessive, but I’d rather find creative ways to use scrap string than be stuck with an anklet I cannot wear because it is too short.

I generally do 3/4 of my wingspan or I do a wingspan and a half if I fold it over.

I usually double what I need for a bracelet also, I’ve had too short of string too many times that I just accept the excess bits and find stuff to make with it later. It seems like my anklets come out about twice as long as my bracelets do anyways.

I typically double an armspand length and cut the extra string to re-use it in alphas! 🙂
